“ This is one of the Golden restaurants I keep coming back to. The King Combo is my go-to for a variety of tasty menu items, my favorites including the meat kabobs, tabbouleh, and baba ganouj with warm pita. The interior space is beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend for a great Mediterranean-Lebanese food experience. ”
“ We showed up with very little time due to traffic and the weather (on our way to the Polar Express). We asked if they could rush our order and they said they could for non grilled items. Sure enough, they arrived within about 5 minutes and were delicious! The waitress was very fast with waters, food, and our bill. Fun decor, quiet and a fun water fountain behind us. We hope to go back soon when we can relax and really enjoy the place. Very pleasant experience! ”
“ We had a wonderful experience for a late lunch at Ali Baba! The inner dining room is just beautiful! There are so many details that make you feel warm, welcomed, and comfortable. Our server could not have been better. She was very helpful and kind. Our food was delicious. We enjoyed kebab plates with lentil soup and hummus/pita. The green and mint teas were lovely on a snowy day. Our only suggestion would be to improve the rice and pita. They were both dry. We plan to return to this great Spot and highly recommended it! ”
“ Amazing Mediterranean food. The humus is SO good. Great salad. Highly recommend checking this place out for some fresh, good food! ”
“ Oh my goodness, truly amazing and authentic Lebanese food. My boyfriend and his brother are half Lebanese and they said this place holds up to their standards. I got grape leaves and a shawarma plate and both were fantastic. The hummus is out of this world. Sharwarma was a little more cinnamon-y than I normally like but I will 100% be coming back ASAP for more. Also the gyro sandwich, baklava, and tabbouleh were fantastic. ”
“ Authentic cuisine with generous portions! The hummus had me hooked at first bite, and honestly, it is what keeps me coming here. It is smooth, creamy, and flavorful. It is topped with paprika and olive oil and comes with soft, warm pita bread and I literally could have it as a meal. When you step into the restaurant, it is like you are immersed in the essence of the culture. It is beautifully decorated in golds, oranges, reds, and yellows. They have a fountain in the middle of the restaurant, although I have never seen it working. There are no windows, which makes it a bit darker, but it does add to the ambiance. My usual is the hummus be-shawarma with chicken. It is a large portion of hummus topped with chicken shawarma. The chicken is thinly sliced and has been marinated in garlic, oranges, and various spices. When ordering this dish, you do have the choice of chicken or gyro meat or a combination of both. The chicken is unbelievably tender, and the portions are so big that I always have leftovers for a few meals. Overall, I think this is a neat place to try and the food is delicious. My 4 star (instead of 5 star) rating comes from the fact that I am not the biggest fan of their gyro meat. I also think that the restaurant needs a good cleaning. The salt and pepper shakers looked and felt really dirty, and the glass on the front door is always smudged and dirty, which makes me a little uneasy thinking about their cleaning methods or lack thereof. ”
“ We stopped in after a long hike and were very hungry. I grabbed a chicken shawarma plate to go. The food was inexpensive and was a good volume. It came with chicken, rice, hummus, pitas, and I subbed in baba ganoush in place of (I believe) salad. Everything was well seasoned and had great flavor. The staff was great, especially about subbing items, and the place had a calm and quiet vibe to it. ”
“ I have been going to Ali Baba Grill since about 2014 when I attended the Colorado School of Mines in beautiful Golden, Colorado. As students, my friends and I would go there for their reasonable prices and large servings on some of their dishes and I am glad to report that has not changed. My favorite dish to get there is the lamb kabsa which has lamb shanks, vegetables, rice, and a yogurt sauce. This can easily be eaten for 2 or 3 meals depending on how much you eat. A little tip is to ask for the red hot sauce that tastes amazing with the dish! With full-size entrees, naan, hummus, and a side salad is provided as well which all taste awesome. If the weather is good, ask for the outside table to enjoy the mountain view with your meal. ”
